About Mindy Caterina

Mindy Caterina is a Toronto and Hamilton based lawyer with a practice devoted to appeals, judicial reviews, and select professional discipline and criminal/regulatory matters.

A former federal prosecutor with a solid grasp of the criminal and administrative justice systems, she is well-equipped to take on a wide range of matters.

Mindy assists professional clients with complaints, investigations, Discipline Hearings and judicial reviews.  As a decision writer for a professional college, she gained a deep understanding of how to defend professionals facing disciplinary actions.

Experienced Advocate

Prior to starting her own practice, Mindy litigated tax matters for the Federal Department of Justice, prosecuted federal criminal, quasi-criminal, and regulatory charges, and worked with two highly regarded boutique defence firms in Toronto. She has won cases before all levels of court in Ontario. Mindy speaks English, Spanish, and conversational French.

Community Dedication

Mindy is passionate about legal education and regularly volunteers for legal education initiatives.  She is a Hamilton Early Learning Centre Board Member, and a Member of the Fire Safety Commission and the Animal Care Review Board.
